I had it plugged into one of the USB 2.0 ports in my motherboard and had my wired keyboard in the 3.0 port. Turns out that my USB 3.0 ports were not shielded ("USB 3.0 ready" motherboard lol) so they were causing interference. Had to use an extension cable to move my wireless mouse's dongle further away from the case and stopped having issues. Download the pairing utility on your computer with the link above.
